Letter from Cr Adam Allan re why Sandgate was chosen for densification

This letter was in response to a resident's questioning of why Sandgate was chosen for densification. It contains a quite revealing insight into Council's thinking: Cr Allan says "I share your view that Sandgate's identity is something worth preserving. That's why the suburban renewal work underway is focused only on Sandgate's centre, not the surrounding residential areas". So the town centre is not part of Sandgate's identity in Council's view!
